BALE AWARD Gareth Bale has won the Football Association of Wales Player of the Year award for the second year running.
"Obviously I am very pleased to win the award again, it’s very special to me to be chosen twice like this. It is a great award to win, a real honour. My am is to keep that level of performance going in every game."

The Welsh national football team face a busy few days in the latest round of Euro 2012 qualifiers with a home game against Switzerland on 7 October and a trip to Sofia to play Bulgaria four days later.
Following the recent away win against Montenegro and the narrow defeat to England hopes are rising that Welsh fortunes are on the rise.
Manager Gary Speed is expected to field a strong side against a Swiss team who are still in the hunt to qualify for the finals in Poland and Ukraine, knowing that a win in Swansea and victory over Montenegro in the final match will secure second place in the group and a place in the play-offs.
