    Young Guns - Weekly Update

    Wes Burns (Bristol City - midfielder) Picked up a goal as the U21's beat Brentford 5-2.  Burns scored with a thumping effort in the last 10 minutes.

    Jake Cassidy (Wolves/Tranmere - striker) Might be back at Wolves sooner than he thought if he continues to take the match ball home with him.  With his parent club struggling for goals, the Wales U21 international scored a hat-trick in the 4-0 win against Colchester Utd.  "They were simple balls and easy to finish. It's good to get off the mark." - Jake Cassidy.

    Jack Charles (Huddersfield - midfielder) Was on the score sheet as the U18's drew 2-2 with Sheffield Utd.  Charles cut in from the right flank to fire past the keeper.
     
    Paul Dummett (Newcastle/St Mirren - defender) Was an unused as St Mirren drew 0-0 with Aberdeen. The Wales youth inetrnational will be itching to get some competitive senior game time between now and January.  

    Emyr Huws (Man City - midfielder) Played 90 minutes for the U21 side as they drew 2-2 with Liverpool.  Huws, now in the third year of his professional contract has been a regular with the reserves so far this season.

    Alex Nicholson (Newcastle - defender) Picked up an assist for the reserves as they beat Stoke City 5-1 in midweek.  

    Miles John (Bristol City - striker) Was on the score sheet as the U18's beat Brentford 4-2 last weekend.

    Callum Saunders (Crewe - striker) Scored in his sides 2-1 defeat to Leicester City last weekend.

    Mason Spence (MK Dons - defender) Made his first team debut in the Johnstones Paint defeat to Northampton.  The Wales U19 call-up started and played 66 minutes.

    Sanchez Watt (Arsenal - striker) Picked up a brace as the U21's beat Everton 3-0 on Monday.  The Wales qualified striker scored twice from the spot. 

    George Williams (Fulham - striker) Picked up two assists as the U18's beat Crystal Palace 4-3 last weekend.  He was joined in the starting XI by Jordan Evans (Fulham - midfielder).
