Young Guns: Weekly update - Saturday 24th November

Tom Atyeo (Swansea City) The Wales 17's capt made his Swans U21 debut playing against QPR last tuesday night, Atyeo stared the game and is still only 16 but unfortunately for the swans and him they lost 2-0 at llanelli.

Jordan Evans (Fulham - midfielder) Picked up an assist and George Williams (Fulham - striker) a hat trick of assists as the U18's hammered Middlesbrough 6-0 last Saturday morning.

Adam Henley (Blackburn - defender) Was once again the starting line up as Blackburn picked up a first win under manager Henning Berg.  Rovers won 4-1 at London Road.

Emyr Huws (Man City/Northampton - midfielder) The head of Manchester City's Academy Mark Allen says Aidy Boothroyd's pedigree of developing young players was a major factor in the decision to allow the captain of their Under-21 side to join Northampton Town on loan.  Allen said Attilio Lombardo, City's Under 21 coach, was "very much part of the decision-making process" to send Huws to Northampton and believes the teenager has the ability to eventually push for a spot in Roberto Mancini's squad. "He's committed to the club for a few more years and the intention is he will get a chance," Allen said.

Nat Jarvis (Cardiff City - striker) Will join Forest Green Rovers on loan until the 5th of January.  Jarvis spent much of last season on loan at Newport County, scoring six times.

Jack Nardiello (Stoke - striker) Scored and picked up an assist as the U18's lost a pulsating seven goal thriller against Spurs.  The Londoners ran out 4-3 winners.
