Jake Cassidy (Wolves - striker) Equalised as the U21's drew 2-2 with Stoke last Sunday.  Cassidy has not quite managed to reach the highs of his loan spell at Tranmere - so a goal and a lively performance will have done his confidence no harm at all.  He was joined in the starting XI by Robbie Parry (Wolves - midfielder) who played 51 minutes.

Jake Charles (Huddersfield - midfielder) Made an appearance off the bench as the development side beat rivals Leeds 2-1. Chris Dawson (Leeds - midfielder) started for Leeds.

Matthew Harriott (Unnatached - midfielder) Has joined Northampton town until the end of the season after being released by Sheffield Utd.  He made four first team appearances for the Blades.

Adam Henley (Blackburn - defender) Limped off with a tight hamstring after 39 minutes of his sides U21 encounter last Sunday against Sunderland.  Henley who missed a large part of last season due to hamstring problems will hope that it's not as serious this time around.

Lloyd Isgrove (Southampton - midfielder) Started for Saints as they thrashed Barsnley 5-1 at Oakwell in the Capitol One Cup on Tuesday evening.  The Wales U21 international played 71 minutes and will benefit from his first competitive senior game.

Daniel James (Hull - striker) Made an impact off the bench as the youth team beat Chesterfield 3-1.  City secured the win with a solo goal from substitute James. He picked the ball up on halfway, ran at the Chesterfield defence and from just inside the box fired a left foot shot into the bottom corner. He was joined in the starting XI by Alex Penny (Hull - defender).

Declan John (Cardiff City - defender) Made another first team start as City travelled to Accrington Stanley in the Capitol One Cup.

Peter Smith (Wolves - striker) & Declan Weeks (Wolves - midfielder) Were both on the score sheet as the U18's crushed Leicester City 6-1 last week.  Smith curled one in with his left foot before Weeks scored with his second attempt after a smart run into the box.  He also scored in midweek as the U18's were thrashed 6-1 by Man Utd.

Macauley Southam (Cardiff City - midfielder) & Ben Watkins (Cardiff City - midfielder) Scored the goals as the U18's drew 2-2 with QPR.

Louis Thompson (Swindon - midfielder) Played 30 minutes during the second half as Swindon dumped QPR out of the Capitol One Cup.  Thompson was introduced as a substitute and joined elder brother Nathan Thompson (Swindon - defender) on the field.

Billy Waters (Crewe - midfielder) Picked up two assists in an impressive performance against Coventry U21's.  Waters who was on standby for the Wales U21's for the game against Finland was a constant threat from set pieces in the 4-1 win.  Aaron Phillips (Coventry - defender) started for the Sky Blues.

George Williams (Fulham - striker) Hit an 89th minute winner as the U18's beat Reading 4-3 on Wednesday afternoon.  Williams was a constant thorn in the Reading defence and pounced to wrap it up with a minute to spare.  Jordan Evans (Fulham - midfielder) also picked up an assist.
