Jake Cassidy (Wolves - striker) Scored twice as the development side beat Notts County 4-1.  Cassidy has been on the fringes of the first team this season and a couple of goals should boost his confidence.

Jake Charles (Huddersfield - striker) Scored his eighth of the campaign as the U18's beat local rivals Leeds 4-1.  Charles who recently signed a four year contract at the club, also picked up an assist in the victory.  There was more good news for the youngster this week, as he was shortlisted for The Football League 11.  The 11' to recognise the football and academic progress of eleven apprentice players across the land.  The 11', which also assesses other factors such as apprentice involvement in club community based initiatives, is judged by LFE's team of regional officers.  It replaces the 'Apprentice of the Month' award and will run on four occasions (October, December, February and May) during the 2013-14 season.  He is joined on the list by Ioan Evans (Sheffield Utd - defender) & Rob Evans (Wrexham - defender).

Michael Crowe (Ipswich - goalkeeper) Kept a clean sheet as the U18's beat QPR 1-0.  Crowe made some fantastic saves, but will not travel away with the Wales U19's to their training camp in Spain as he was with the development team playing 90 minutes against Ipswich.  He also kept another clean sheet as the U21's beat Bristol City 1-0 on Monday.

Paul Dummett (Newcastle - defender) Was back fit for club after missing out on international duty with a hamstring strain.  The full back entered the fray after 45 minutes and nearly gave his side all three points against visitors Liverpool - steering a free kick past Simon Mignolet to give his side the lead.  Unfortunately for the Geordies they couldn't hold on for all the points.  It is very likely that the left back will be offered a new contract after his impressive start to the season.

Adam Henley (Blackburn - defender) Is targetting a first team recall as he battles his way back from a succession of hamstring injuries and a concussion.

I've got confidence in my own ability.  In the last couple of seasons I've had first-team opportunities and I feel I can get back in there again." Adam Henley.

Lloyd Isgrove (Southampton - midfielder) Was back on U21 duty this week as he started in the 2-2 draw with Blackburn.  Isgrove played 90 minutes.

Chike Kandi (Chelsea – striker) Scored his second goal of the U18 campaign as the Blues lost 3-2 to Spurs last weekend.  Kandi was one of the players selected to travel away with the Wales U19's to Malaga.

Joe Morrell (Bristol City - midfielder) stepped off the bench and picked up an assist as the U21's beat QPR 3-1. The 16 year old midfielder who played for the seniors in the St Johnstones Paint Trophy seems to be getting a good mix of youth and senior team football at Ashton Gate.

Aaron Phillips (Coventry - defender) Scored his first senior goal for the club after coming off the bench against Wolves.  Phillips, who had only been on the field for three minutes scored with a right footed effort with 7 minutes of the game remaining.

"I probably got that goal from my dad, but I don't think he is as good as defender as me."

David Richards (Cardiff - Goalkeeper) Bristol City have signed Cardiff City goalkeeper Dave Richards. The 19-year-old joins on an initial loan deal which will become permanent on 1 January 2014. Richards has been on standby for Wales Under 21 squad recently.

Peter Smith (Wolves - striker) Struck during the first half as the U18's drew 1-1 with Stoke.  He was joined in the Wolves XI by Declan Weeks (Wolves - midfielder).

Billy Waters (Crewe – midfielder) Was an unused sub as Crewe crashed 3-0 to Stevenage this week.  The Railwaymen have a good track record for producing and giving youth opportunities and Waters may well benefit from that this season.

Harry Wilson (Liverpool - striker) Was back with the U18's last weekend - and his early season form and Wales international debut hadn't stalled at all as he scored a brace in the 4-2 win against Blackburn.  He was joined in the starting XI by Jordan Williams (Liverpool - midfielder) who played 75 minutes.
