Jake Eyre (Sheffield Utd - striker) Scored a second half hat-trick as a rampant Baldes U18 team thrashed Worcester City 9-0 in the FA Youth Cup. Eyre was introduced as a 54th minute sub went on a scoring rampage - wrapping up a hat-trick within 22 minutes of being introduced. Also in the starting line-up were Ioan Evans (Sheff Utd - defender) & Gareth Owen (Sheff Utd - goalkeeper)
Cian Harries (Coventry - defender) & George Thomas (Coventry - midfielder)
Had a hand in both goals as the Sky Blues beat Swnasea City 2-0. Harries teed up the first with a terrific cross-field ball and Thomas set up the second with neat work down the left.
Elliott Hewitt (Ipswich/Gillingham - defender) Went straight into the starting XI as Gillingham faced Sheffield Utd at Bramall Lane. Â The full back had an eventful game - picking a yellow card and clearing the ball off the line in his sides 2-1 win.
Â
Sam Jones (Leicester City - defender) Played another 90 minutes as he settles into his new surroundings with the Foxes U18's team. Â Leicester beat Spurs 3-1. Â
Â
Josh Rees (Nottingham Forest - midfielder) Coolly slotted home from the edge of the box to put his side 1-0 up against WBA U21's. Unfortunately for Rees, the Baggies equalised and went on to knock Forest out of the Premier League U21 Cup.
Â

Â
Louis Thompson (Swindon - midfielder) Started as the Robins travelled to Colchester on Saturday - this was his second start in a row. Â Thompson was another Wales youth international forced to clear the ball off his own line and was singled out for praise from manager Mark Cooper.
"You know what Louis is going to give us. He’ll run through heaven and high earth to get a result same as his brother."
