    REPORT: from the FAW.

Wales and the Czech Republic pleyd-out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Dragon Park today in difficult blustery conditions.

The first half of the second game with the Czech Republic was another close affair. Both sides made changes from the previous match to give their full squad an outing.

Wales took the lead after only four minutes when Cian Harries got-up at a corner to head-home past the Czech goalie's right hand. A great start for Geraint Williams' team.

The reply from the Czech's came six minutes later when their captain, Vaclav Cerny picked-up the ball near the edge of the area and his strong shot beat Luke Pilling in the Wales goal to his left.

A strong wind meant that the ball was at times difficult to control, but the pitch at Dragon Park was playing well given all the recent poor weather.

Wales went back in front on 36 minutes. A great cross from Rhys Abbruzzese (Cardiff City) found Daniel James (Hull City) and he hit a rasping shot passes the keeper, as the Czechs appealed for offside.

The reply was almost immediate. as Kris Twardell scored after Wales gave the ball away on the edge of their own area and the scores were tied.

The second 40 minutes saw both sides make changes and they were forced to play through some difficult wet and windy conditions. Chances were few and far between as both defences were well-marshalled and neither side wanted to make a mistake.

The introduction of George Thomas for Wales at half time brought some more bite to the attack and later Connor Evans also came-on to add to the threat.

The game ended at 2-2 and it was a fair result. For Wales, captain Joe Morrell was outstanding in both matches with some fine passing and controlling the game from the middle of the park.
