    BEST WELSH FOOTBALL PLAYERS

Wales has been the birthplace of many legendary football players

It goes without saying that Wales has been the birthplace of many legendary football players that had a massive impact on some of the world's most elite tournaments. A few of them that come to mind without even sparing a thought are Gary Speed, Mark Hughes, Craig Bellamy, and Toshack. Their skills along with their influence helped them be remembered as some of the best Welsh players and are well-respected in the football world.

These players are so legendary that they even managed to influence other areas apart from sports. The most notable one is the online casinos. We all know that the UK soil is a very popular market for online casinos and they thrive in this territory, and Wales is at the forefront. Various games have been made by game providers using the legendary Welsh players as themes to help motivate the people. Research has shown that they are more than willing to participate in this activity, and if you are one of them and you like to see what these games look like, try this website out.

As we concluded by now, there have been many players that deserve to be included in this conversation and we would like to name them all, but the list could go on and on. That is why we decided to stick to our personal picks and unveil our top 3 list.

    Gareth Bale
One of the fastest and deadliest fullbacks that evolved to attacking wingers is first on our list. Gareth Bale smashed the Premier League during his time in Tottenham and then decided to join Real Madrid. Although he is targeted by many fans that he didn't live up to the expectations, his numbers speak differently. 105 goals and 68 assists in 251 is better than most of Real's legends. Oh, and he loves to play golf. His relationship with Real Madrid and its fans may not be at a top level now, but you cannot deny his talent and greatness.

    Ian Rush
Ian Rush is not just a Welsh legend, but one of the all-time greats in football. He started his senior career in 1978 and soon started playing for Liverpool where he became one of the club's deadliest strikers. During his career, he scored more than 300 goals for club and country and is ranked 3rd on the list of Players Who Shook the Kop (a Liverpool fan poll). He retired in 2000 and spent 1 year managing Chester City.

    Ryan Giggs
Finally, we have one of Manchester United's greatest midfielders and one of the best players in Premier League's history. Although his private life might not be as fascinating and impressive as his performance on the pitch, we cannot deny that Ryan Giggs had a fantastic career and played a key role under Fergie's wing. He was a huge contributor to Manchester United's success in the past 2 decades.
