    Young Guns: Weekly update -Wednesday 19th December

    Wes Burns (Bristol City - striker) Scored another hat trick as the U18's thrashed Brentford 6-1 last weekend. He now has seventeen goals so far for the season for the U18's/U21's. Further good news for him this week as he signed a two and a half year contract with the club.

    Kyle Copp (Swansea City - defender) Has been rewarded for some fine performances with a new two year contract at The Liberty.

    Michael Doughty (QPR - midfielder) Picked up an assist and also scored with a screamer from 25 yards as the U21's beat Colchester 8-2 on Monday night.

    Elliott Hewitt (Ipswich - defender) Made his first team debut last weekend. The Wales U21 international made a second half appearance as the Trotters beat

    Gethin Jones (Everton - midfielder) picked up an assist as the U18's advanced to the next round of the FA Youth Cup with a win against Southampton this week. The Toffees running out 2-0 winners.
    Jack Nardiello (Stoke City - striker) Scored twice as the U18's beat Brighton 4-0 in the FA Youth Cup this week. The Potters will now face Huddersfield in the next round.

    Bradley Reid (Wrexham - striker) Made his first team debut for the Dragons against Braintree in the FA Trophy last weekend. Reid a Wales U15, U16, U17 and U19 international stepped off the bench with 15 minutes left of the second half. He is 19th on the list of youngest ever players to pull on the red shirt.

    George Williams (Fulham - striker) Scored one as the Cottagers advanced to the next round of the FA Youth Cup with a 6-4 win against Middlesbrough. Fulham now face Arsenal in the next round.
