Young Guns: Weekly update - Saturday 16th February

Wes Burns (Bristol City - striker) Picked up another first team appearance as City beat Nottingham Forest last Saturday.  The Wales U21 international entered the fray after 76 minutes.

Luke Chambers (Southend - goalkeeper) Has gone on loan to Bishop's Stortford for the rest of the season.  This will be his second time on loan at the club having previously spent a period there during the Autumn.

Jake Charles (Huddersfield - midfielder) Scored the winner after coming on as a sub after 65 minutes against Sheff Utd.  Charles struck with a left footed strike from just outside the area to seal off three points for the Terriers.

Jack Hendry (Peterbrough Utd - defender) Was given the news that all second year scholars dread this week after he was told that he was being released by the club.

Lloyd Isgrove (Southampton - midfielder) Scored as the U21's drew at Wolves this week.  Isgrove scored his third of the season as he drove at the defence and squeezed a shot under the keeper in the 2-2 draw.

Alex Nicholson (Newcastle - defender) Made another step on his road back from injury with a substitute appearance for the U21's as they beat Stoke City 3-1 last Friday.  The Wales U19 international was introduced off the bench after 49 minutes.

Aaron Oakley (Swindon - defender) Was an unused sub for the seniors last weekend as they drew 0-0 with Hartlepool.

Ryan Williams (Fulham - winger) Brother of Rhys Williams, has gone out on loan to League Two promotion hopefuls Gillingham.
