Will Abbots (Bolton - striker) Scored a stunner from 25 yards as the U18's took Sheffield Utd into extra time in the FA Youth Cup.  Unfortunately the Trotters couldn't hold on as the Blades eventually won on penalties.  Ioan Evans (Sheffield Utd - defender) & Jake Eyre (Sheffield Utd - striker) started for the Blades.

Tom Burridge (Cardiff City - midfielder) & Abdi Noor (Cardiff City - midfielder) Tom Pearson (Cardiff City - midfielder) Were all on the scoresheet as the U18's thrashed Swansea City 6-1 in a mini Welsh derby.

Jake Charles (Huddersfield - midfielder) Picked up valuable U21 game time this week with 25 minutes for the U21's as they beat Sheffield Utd 2-1.  Charles has been in terrific form for the U18's this season and will hope to be a regular U21 squad member from now until to the end of the season.

Tomos Clarke (Oldham - defender) Was the hero as the U18's clinched three points over unbeaten Walsall.  A corner brought about a goalmouth scramble and Clarke scored the only goal of the game with a shot following a neat turn in the box.

Kyle Copp (Swansea City - defender) Put his side ahead with a superbly struck free-kick, but it wasn't enough as the U18's slipped out of the FA Youth Cup with a 3-1 defeat to Oxford Utd.

Morgan Fox (Charlton/Notts County - defender) Notched his first goal for Notts County against Colchester.  The Wales U21 international struck with a right footed finish from inside the 6 yard box.  Fox played 90 minutes in the 4-0 win.

Gethin Jones (Everton - defender) Played 90 minutes as the U18's recorded their second win in six days - beating Stoke 1-0 at Finch Farm.  Curtis Strong (Stoke - defender) started for the away team.

Sam Jones (Leicester City - defender) Is another Welsh youth international through to the next round of the FA Youth Cup as the young Foxes beat Rotherham 3-0.

Chike Kandi (Chelsea - striker) Gained a point for the U18's with an equaliser against WBA.  The Wales U19 international took the ball down in the penalty area before slotting home for his third of the season.

    Adam Henley (Blackburn - defender)
Kept his place in the Rovers starting XI as they took on Millwall at Ewood Park.  Henley played 90 minutes in the 3-2 win.

Tom Lawrence (Man Utd/Carlisle - midfielder) Was another loanee who managed to get on the scoresheet last weekend - Lawrence scored  twice in the 4-1 deomlition of Tranmere.  His first goal was a fantastic left footed shot from outside the box into the top corner and the second described as one of the best goals ever seen at Blundell Park - the second Step overs, drag backs and feints eventually led to the coolest of touches which left Fon Williams flapping at thin air as it found the bottom corner of the net.

Joe Morrell (Bristol City - midfielder) Shone as the U18' beat Brighton 2-0.  Morrell scored with a well curled free-kick as the team returned to winning ways after heavy defeats.

    Alex Penny (Hull - midfielder)
Picked up an assist as the U18's beat York 2-0.  He was joined in the starting XI by Dan James (Hull - midfielder).

Callum Saunders (Crewe - striker) Was the hero once again as the U18's beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 after extra time.  Saunders levelled the game with 10 minutes left of normal time - before meeting at a cross at the back post to clinch passage into the next round.

Billy Walters (Crewe - midfielder) Who's a constant first team squad regular scored with virtually the last kick of the game as Crewe XI beat Leicester City 3-2.  He was joined in the side by George Ray (Crewe - defender).

George Williams (Fulham - striker) Scored for the U21's as they beat Spurs 5-3 in a mini London derby.  Williams scored with a tap in and will now hope to keep his place in the squad for the rest of the season.  The Wales U19 starlet also   planted a spot kick into the top corner to earn his side a point at Southampton in midweek.

Curtis Watkins (Cardiff City - defender) And his fellow defenders kept a clean sheet as the City U18's beat Blackburn 1-0.  Callum Harris (Blackburn - midfielder) started for the Rovers.

    Jordan Williams (Liverpool - defender/midfielder)
Was on the winning side as the U18's beat Man Utd 3-1 last weekend.  Williams has returned strongly after several months out with a knee injury.
