Both Ched Evans and Joe Allen are out due to groin injuries. Both players have returned to their clubs, for treatment. "Both have gone back to their clubs for intensive treatment and we are going to reassess the situation on Saturday." - Brian Flynn.

Defender Adam Matthews (Cardiff City) has been added to the squad.

Ashley Williams has been confirmed as captain. Tickets are selling well for the game, and it is hoped that fans will buy their tickets before the day of the game to ease congestion issues at the stadium.

TICKET NEWS: The 'Advance' ticket price for the Wales v Bulgaria Euro qualifier will apply on match day until 5pm. After this time, the higher priced 'Match Day' price will apply. This will increase ticket prices by £5 per ticket.

Robert Earnshaw has been forced to withdraw from the squad with a thigh injury. Neal Eardley is also out with an ankle injury, whilst Brian Stock is out with a back problem. Danny Gabbidon is another to withdraw after retiring from International football.

There is a first senior call-up for Southampton's Ryan Doble. Also called up are Swansea defender Neil Taylor, Darcy Blake (Cardiff City) and Norwich City midfielder Andrew Crofts.

Squad have meet up on Monday afternoon (4th October). The squad will also be at the FAW awards dinner on Monday evening.

Caretaker boss Brian Flynn, has named the Wales squad.

The squad sees two uncapped players - David Cornell (Swansea City) and Jonathan Bond (Watford). Both are included to give them an early taste of the senior international set-up.

There is a recall for Stoke City's defender, Danny Collins, who is back in the squad for the first time since August 2007.
