 Hartson out of Belarus game.
John Hartson has pulled out of the Wales squad following the collapse of his £7million move to Glasgow Rangers. Hartson was due to link up with the squad today ahead of the World Cup qualifier with Belarus in Minsk.

 John Hartson happy to be back.
John Hartson is happy to be back in the Wales squad after injury and wants to make a good impression on manager Mark Hughes. Hartson emphasised the need for Wales to make a good start to the campaign if they are to make their first World Cup finals since 1958.

Matthew Jones is sure Wales can qualify for the World Cup, and has acknowledged that fame has come quickly.

 Bellamy sent to Coventry.
Craig Bellamy has signed for Coventry City in a £6.5million deal. Bellamy is expected to make his debut against Middlesbrough on Saturday, he signs a five-year contract.

Mark Hughes names his squad for the opening World Cup qualifier against Belarus on Thursday. Mark Delaney and Matthew Jones are both doubtful. Paul Jones hopes to return after his back injury.

Dean Saunders maybe a doubt for the World Cup qualifier against Belarus in September. He faces a month out after being diagnosed with fluid on his knee.
