Young Guns: Weekly update - Tuesday 9th October

Wes Burns (Bristol City - midfielder) Kept up his early season fine form with a brace as the U18's beat Millwall 2-1 away from home last weekend. Burns has also been involved with the U21 development side this season.

Emyr Huws (Man City - midfielder) Skippered the U21 side as they drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace this week.  Huws has been a regular with the development side this season.

Gethin Jones (Everton - midfielder) Scored one of his sides goals in the 4-2 U18 defeat to Bolton last weekend.

James Loveridge (Swansea City - striker) Scored with a fortuitous strike as his side took the lead against Charlton U21's this week.  Unfortunately his side couldn't keep the lead as they eventually lost 3-1.

Aaron Oakley (Swindon - defender) & Louis Thompson (Swindon - midfielder) Were both on the score sheet as the U18's as they beat Cheltenham Town 4-1 last Saturday.  Thompson scored first after a determined run before Oakley doubled the lead with a header.
