    Under 21: UEFA draw

The draw for the UEFA Under 21 2015 Championship has been made.

Wales have been drawn in Group 1 alongside England, Finland, Moldova, Lithuania and San Marino.

    Fixtures:

Friday 22nd March 2013 Moldova Home
Wednesday 14th August 2013 Finland Home
Friday 6th September 2013 San Marino Away
Tuesday 10th September 2013 Moldova Away
Friday 11th October 2013 Lithuania Home
Tuesday 15th October 2013 San Marino Home
Wednesday 5th March 2014 England Away
    Wednesday 13th August 2014 Home
    Friday 5th September 2014 Away
    Tuesday 9th September 2014 Away

Intermediate team manager, Geraint Williams, was very pleased with the draw. "I was joking with England manager Stuart Pearce before the draw that we would get each other in the group, so I was not shocked when they came out of the hat. Finland will also be tricky opponents, but I am very pleased with the way we have been able to negotiate the fixtures as I did not want us to play in June 2013 or November 2013 as that date clashes with one of our youth tournament qualifiers."

The draw for the UEFA Under 21 2015 Championship is set to made on Thursday 31st January 2013.

There will be 52 nations in the draw, with the hosts the Czech Republic already in the finals.

Wales have been placed in in Pot B (sides with the rankings between 11 - 20).

    The other pots rankings are:
    Pot A (1 - 10), Pot C (21 - 30), Pot D (31 - 40) , Pot E (41 - 52)

Groups 1 & 2 will have six teams in each, Groups 3 - 10 will have five teams in each. Teams will play each other home and away over the dates below. The ten group winners and four best runners-up will qualify for the play-off matches.

The group matches will be played between:
    22-26 March 2013, 07-11 June 2013, 06-10 September 2013, 11-15 October 2013, 15-19 November 2013, 03-09 September 2014.

(Teams can arrange to play on dates other than those above, with the relevant FIFA regulations applying regarding the release of players)

The play-off games will be between: 08-14 October 2014.

Match venues for the group stages must be agreed at least 60 days in advance of the game in question (by 7th February 2013 for the matches in March 2013). Kick off times no later than 30 days prior.
