The Euro 2024 finals are around the corner and fans cannot keep calm. All countries that clinched qualifications are already preparing for what’s coming. Bookies have also been looking forward to the matches and most reputable sites, including Bet365 Slovenia, have competitive odds to match the excitement. And as you would expect, punters are already placing their wagers. But should Wales’ fans follow suit or will the team not make it to the finals? Let’s find out:

    Will Wales Reach the Finals?
Getting to the Euro finals is a dream come true for many teams. But unfortunately, Wales missed out on clinching 20 of the 23 spots which they would have gotten by winning or coming up as runners-up in the qualifying tournaments. However, not all hope is lost. The team has the chance of redeeming itself by participating in the playoffs as it did well in the 2022-2023 UEFA Nations League.
To get to the finals, Wales will need to beat Finland in a match scheduled for 21st March 2024 in Cardiff. If it does, it will face off with Poland or Estonia (depending on the team that wins the semi-final). The overall winner will then join Group D in the Euro Finals and will face the following teams:
    ●    Netherlands,
    ●    Austria, and
    ●    France.
So, will Wales make it to the finals? Let's compare it to Finland:

    Wales vs Finland
Many bookies predict that Wales will have the advantage in the semi-finals. After all, it boasts the following stats:
    ●    The team has impressive talent: With players like Wayne Hennessey, Ben Davies, and Aaron Ramsey leading the team, fans can expect Wales to wow them with their results. Wayne has especially been instrumental to the team's success in the past decade.
    ●    The management is excellent: When Rob Page took over the team from Ryan Giggs, many people were hopeful that this spelt success for the team. And they were not wrong. He continues guiding the talent in the right direction.
    ●    The gameplay is well-balanced: All players understand their roles, which lends balance in all areas of the pitch. Moreover, they are versatile such that they can take on additional roles as they present themselves. It also helps that most players are at their peak ages, which helps them perform optimally.
    ●    They have amazing stats: The teams last played against each other in 2021 where Finland was the host, in a game that ended without goals. Before that, Wales had beaten Finland 3-1 in the Group B4 UEFA Nations League in 2020.
It's no wonder many people think it will make it to the final where it will face Poland or Estonia.

    Wales vs The Other Teams
Poland or Estonia will face off with Wales if it wins the semi-final. So, does Wales have what it takes to beat any of these teams? Poland is the favorite per previous stats. However, since Wales will be home, many bookies have also favoured Wales for this advantage. After all, it has an impressive home form while Poland has had poor away stats. And when it comes to Estonia, Wales is the clear favourite. Of course, many stats already predict that Estonia will not make it to the final and Wales will thus likely face Poland in this match.

Let's not forget that Wales has been working on improving its form, which saw it make it to the UEFA European Championship semi-finals in 2016 and earn 16th place in 2020. It is thus determined to keep up the streak and make its way closer to the finals. This resilience will show in the semi-finals and fans should be ready to see it play out. Of course, there’s no predicting Finland’s form on match day and Wales will thus have to have some tricks up its sleeve to keep up with any curveballs.
