    WALES EURO 2020 BUILD UP

Wales to start Euro 2020 build up

Ryan Giggs' Wales start the preparation for the Euro 2020 finals with home games against Austria and the United States in March, with the Wales boss looking to select his final 23 player squad for the finals in June.

To secure their place for the second successive UEFA Euro finals, Wales finished the qualifying campaign with two wins against Azerbaijan and Hungary last November.

In the past few months several key players have had injuries and will be hoping to return to action ahead of the first game Group A game in Baku on Saturday 13th June.

On current club form selecting the final 23 is going to prove a tough task for the Wales manager, with several fringe players currently making strong claims for inclusion.

Plans are afoot, ith Baku being confirmed by UEFA as the base for the squad.

The weather in Baku in June will be hot, and could become a factor with the match against Switzerland a late afternoon kick off (local time).

To find out if players are in action for their club, the Player appearances page is updated daily

Wales' four key players to look out for will be Ben Davies, Joe Allen, Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale, with youngsters like Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, David Brooks and Dan James looking to make an impact on the European stage.

At this early stage Wales look like they are ranked fourth in Group A with regards to the betting markets.

All in all, this is once again exciting times for supporters, as was France 2016.
