Young Guns: Weekly update - Tuesday 6th November

Some stories from the last few weeks

Dan Alfei (Swansea City - defender) Will spend another spell at Wrexham after the Swans agreed to a loan until January.  The Wales U21 international played 6 times for the Dragons last season.

Jake Cassidy (Wolves/Tranmere - striker) Scored his tenth of the season as Tranmere drew 1-1 with Preston at Prenton Park.  The Wales U21 international scored from a tight angle.

Jordan Evans (Fulham - midfielder) Scored as the U18's picked up a point in a 2-2 draw away at Wolves.  It ended the sides run of three match losing run.

Jordan Cranston (Wolves - defender) Started as the U21's beat Shrewsbury in a friendly this week.  Cranston has been a regular fixture with the U21's and reserves this season.

Emyr Huws (Man City - midfielder) Made his debut as the Cobblers beat Exeter City 3-0 last weekend.  It was to be a good debut, with the U21 international picking up an assist.

Tom Lawrence (Man Utd - midfielder) Scored with a fantastic shot for the U21's, but it was all in vain as the Red Devils lost 4-2 to Spurs.

Alex Nicholson (Newcastle - defender) Was stretchered off as the U21's beat Stoke City 5-1 this week.  The Wales U19 international was replaced after 31 minutes.

Aaron Oakley (Swindon - defender) Was an unused sub as Swindon lost 2-1 to Crewe in midweek.

Robbie Parry (Wolves - striker) Picked up a goal as the U18's beat Wolves in a friendly this week.  Parry picked up the fifth in a 5-3 win.

Jake Taylor (Reading - midfielder) Scored with a free kick as the Royals U21's fought back from 2-0 down to pick up a point away at Bolton.  No news yet whether the U21 international will spend some time on loan before Christmas.

Sanchez Watt (Arsenal/Colchester - striker) Scored with a rifled shot as the U's drew 2-2 with Shrewsbury.  Watt was introduced into the action after 58 minutes.
