    Young Guns: Weekly update - Friday 5th April.

    Wes Burns (Bristol City/Forest Green Rovers - striker) Has signed on loan at Forest Green Rovers until the end of the season.  The Wales U21 international signed his first pro contract in December.

    Chris Dawson (Leeds - midfielder)
    Scored as the development team beat Birmingham 3-1 this week.  Dawson, who has withdrew from the U21 squad to face Moldova due to injury, netted his sides second from distance.   After being an unused sub at the weekend - Dawson finally made his debut on Monday night, playing 57 minutes in the 2-1 defeat to Debry County Elland Road.  


    Paul Dummett (Newcastle/St Mirren - defender)
    Once again played 90 minutes as St Mirren held Celtic to a 1-1 draw on Easter Monday.  Dummett is expected to be offered a new contract by hometown club Newcastle in the summer.


    Jordan Evans (Fulham - midfielder)
    Scored one as the U19's beat the LA Galaxy in the Dallas Cup this week.  He also scored in the final as the Cottagers beat Kashiwa Reysol 5-1 to claim the trophy.  He was joined on the score sheet byGeroge Williams (Fulham - striker).


    Ellis Harrison (Bristol Rovers - midfielder)
    Started once again as the Pirates beat the Daggers 4-2.  The Wales U21 international played 90 minutes in the win against Dagenham and Redbridge.


    Emyr Huws (Man City midfielder)
    Was the stand out performer playing at the base of midfield (according to the official MCFC website) as the U21's drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace.  Huws was in the starting IX alongside first team stars like Micah Richards and Derek Boyata.


    Lloyd Isgrove (Southampton - midfielder) Returned from injury and played 90 minutes for the U21's as they beat Wolves last week.  Lee Evans (Wolves - midfielder) & Robbie Parry (Wolves - midfielder) made appearances for Wolves.


    Declan John (Cardiff City - midfielder)
    Clinched the game for the delopment side against Bristol City this week.  John, making his first appearance for a month stepped off the bench to rifle home after Joe Ralls' corner was half cleared as City ran out 3-2 winners.  Miles John (Bristol City - defender/midfielder) played 73 minutes for the visitors.


    George Ray (Crewe - defender)
    Was an unused sub as the Railwaymen lost 2-1 to Portsmouth at Gresty Road last weekend.


    Bradley Reid (Wrexham - striker)
    Scored with a lob as the Dragons beat their closest neighbours Preston 2-0 this week.  The youth team are now 6pts clearin their youth league.


    Louis Thompson (Swindon - midfielder)
    Was an unused sub as Swindon lost 1-0 at Doncaster Rovers.  Thompson and Aaron Oakley (Swindon - defender) have been regular members of the senior match day squad this season.
