Elliott Chamberlain (Leicester - striker) Scored his sides
second goal as they beat Cardiff U18's 2-1 last Saturday morning. Leicester
academy still remain undefeated in the league.
Ryan Doble (Southampton - midfielder) + Gary Preen (Southampton -
midfielder) Played 90 minutes as the reserves beat Bournemouth 2-1 on
Wednesday night.
Paul Dummett (Newcastle - defender) Was in the thick of
the action as the Geordies beat Palace 4-2 in the FA Youth Cup on Thursday.
Dummett conceded two penalties after challenges with the same player but atoned
slightly with an assist. The Palace starting XI contained Wales U17
international Jonathan Williams (Crystal Palace -
midfielder).
Jonathan North (Watford/Oxford City - goalkeeper) Has
extended his stay at Oxford City for another month as he looks to continue his
senior experience with the Southern Football League Premier Division Side.
Ashley Richards (Swansea - defender) Played his second 90
minutes in under a week as he started for the Swans in the stormy encounter
against Derby last weekend. Richards continued at left back in the 1-0 win.
Rhoys Wiggins (Norwich/Bournemouth - defender) Has had his
loan spell at Bournemouth extended by another month as he enjoys life back in
the starting XI. The Wales U21 international thought he had played his last
game for the Cherries on Wednesday night but an agreement has been reached
between the clubs and the Football League for the defender to stay on for a
further 28 days. "It was emotional at the end of the game last night because I love playing
here and now I can't wait for another month at the club." Rhoys

Richard Blythe (Aston Villa - midfielder) + Tomos Roberts (Aston
Villa - midfielder) Followed fellow youth internationals
Johnathon Williams (Crystal Palace - midfielder) +
Jonathan Bond (Watford - goalkeeper) into the next round of the
FA Youth Cup as the Villains beat Millwall 4-1.
Kayleden Brown (WBA - striker) Was an unused sub for the
seniors asthey drew 1-1 in the capitol on Tuesday night. Brown has been in fine
form for the youth team of late and was joined on the bench against Cardiff by
two other academy graduates.
Nathan Craig (Everton - midfielder) Scored his sides first
goal as the Everton youth cruised to a 3-0 win against Wolves last Saturday.
Craig scored after 48 minutes, smashing a free kick past the visitors
keeper.
Josh Dawkin (Norwich - midfielder) Was an unused sub as
the Canaries came from behind to beat Brighton last Saturday. Dawkin also
started for the reserves on Wednesday afternoon and played 90 minutes in the 1-0
win against Luton. He was joined in the second half by David Stephens
(Norwich - defender) who got 30 minutes.
Keiron Freeman (Nottingham Forest - defender) Played 90
minutes in defence as the U18 team beat Huddersfield 2-0 last Saturday.
Liam Newman (Burnley - striker) Came off the bench to
score as the youth team Blackpool 3-0 last weekend. Newman was one of three
rolling subs and ran on to a through ball to notch his sides third.
Gareth Partridge (Shrewsbury - striker) Picked up his
sides third goal as the youth team continued the rich vein of form with a 3-1
win against Carlisle. He was joined in the starting XI by Wayne Farmer
(Shrewsbury - defender).
Jazz Richards (Swansea - defender) Played 90 minutes on
Tuesday night as the Swans were pegged back to a 1-1 draw with Plymouth at Home
Park.
Alex Titchiner (Crewe/Colwyn Bay - striker) Has extended
his stay at Colwyn Bay after impressing during his first month. Titchiner will
now stay on for another month as he looks to build on his senior game time. As
mentioned previously, Ash Taylor (Tranmere - defneder/midfielder)
flourished after a spell in the lower leagues, so Titchiner could well
benefit from his time at Llanelian Road.
James Wilson (Bristol City - defender) Was another Welsh
youth international to get a spot on the bench last weekend. Wilson was an
unused sub as a City XI lacking in confidence lost 2-0 to Sheffield United. He
like a few others then got reserve team game time in midweek as he captained the
second string during a 2-1 defeat to Swansea City. The Swans starting XI
contained a whole host of young Welshmen including Daniel Alfei
(defender) David Cornell (goalkeeper) and
Joe Walsh (defender).

Jonathon Bond (Watford - goalkeeper) + Kurtney
Brooks (Watford - midfielder) Had a night to remember on Monday as they
beat Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield in the FA Youth Cup. Both will now face Chelsea
in the next round.
Kayleden Brown (WBA - striker) Was back in the thick of it
last Saturday as the Baggies U18 team beat Man Utd 3-0. Brown picked up an
assist and his sides second goal as they cruised to victory against a multi
national Red Devils XI.
Josh Dawkin (Noriwch - midfielder) Was a constant menace
as the U18's picked up a good win against West Ham last Saturday. Dawkin who's
been on the bench a few times for the seniors of late picked up an assist in the
3-2 win. He was joined in the starting XI by David Stephens (Norwich -
defender).
Keiron Freeman (Nottingham Forest - defender) Was in the
back line as Forest U18's beat Leeds 3-0 last Saturday. It was the sides third
consecutive win.
Connor Roberts (Everton - goalkeeper) Was between the
sticks as the second string beat Bootle in the Senior Cup. Roberts was called
into action on several occasions as they won 4-2.
Ash Taylor (Tranmere - defender/midfielder) Will be out
for three weeks after picking up a hamstring injury against Gillingham. Taylor
who has been an ever present this season will face a period on the sidelines.
Sanchez Watt (Arsenal - striker) Has gone on loan to
Southend as Wenger looks to give his yong charges some game time. His first
game was a 2-0 loss to a Colchester United side with Christian Ribeiro
(Bristol City/Colchester - defender) back in the match day squad after
injury.
Jonathon Williams (Crystal Palace - midfielder) Played 90
minutes as was another youth international to win a place in the next round of
the FA Youth Cup as Palace beat Hull 4-1 on Thursday night.

Kayleden Brown (WBA - forward) Played well as the Baggies
reserves beat Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 on Tuesday night. Brown was used out on
the right wing in a game which he was praised by coach Keith Downing.
"..Kayleden Brown was powerful on the wing."
Nathan Craig (Everton - midfielder) Was industrious as the
U18 team beat Preston to go through to the next round of the FA Youth Cup on
Thursday night. Craig and Aristote Nsiala (Everton -
defender) both played 90 minutes in the 3-0 win. Wales youth
international Sam Hart (Preston - defender) nearly got on the
score sheet but his freekick hit the woodwork.
Luke Chambers (Southend - goalkeeper) Has signed for
Southend United after being released by Arsenal. The Wales U16 international
revealed that he had turned down approaches from Arsenal and Man City before
settling for Southend United. "My aim is to continue playing for the Wales
U17's next season, have an impressive year with Southend as the likes of
Liverpool, Man City and Newcastle have all expressed an interest in myself, and
lastly break into the Southend team in the next 2-3 years."
David Cornell (Swansea - goalkeeper) Has signed a new
three year deal as manager Paulo Sousa starts the process of tying down his
signets to new deals. Cornell kept a clean sheet in midweek as the Swans beat
Southampton 1-0 in a second string encounter. As Cornell signs on, Scott
Evans (Swansea - midfielder) has left the club after having his
contract mutually cancelled.

youngster through to the next stage of the FA Youth Cup after a comprehensive
win against West Ham on Wednesday night. The U18's cruised to a 3-0
win.
Wayne Farmer (Shrewsbury - defender) + Gareth Partridge (Shrewsbury
- striker) Both got game time on Tuesday night as a young second string
beat Macclesfield 2-0. Farmer started played 90 minutes in defence and Partridge
25 minutes from the bench.
Reece Jones (Fulham - defender) Picked up his sides first
goal as the Cottagers marched into the Quarter Finals of the FA Youth Cup. He
was joined in the starting XI by Wales U17 international Richard Peniket
(Fulham - striker).
Stephen Powell (Huddersfield - defender) Played 90
minutes as the reserves beat Boro 3-1 on Monday night.
Gary Preen (Southampton - midfielder) Scored with a
deflection as the U18's crashed 3-1 to Arsenal last weekend. Preen got his side
back on level terms, but it wasn't enough to keep them in the game.
Jake Taylor (Reading - striker) Picked up an assist as
the second string beat QPR 3-0 on Tuesday night. Taylor slipped in a pass as
Robson-Kanu scored the third.
Alex Tichiner (Colwyn Bay/Crewe - striker) Scored his
first for Colwyn Bay last Saturday as they kept up the pressure on league
leaders Lancaster in Unibond 1st Division North. Titchiner scored with 4 minutes
left on the clock as they beat Harrogate 2-0.
