Billy Bodin (Swindon/Torquay - midfielder) Was back on the score sheet as Torquay beat Hereford at Plainmoor.
The youngster struck his sides second, beating Wales U21 colleague David Cornell (Swansea City/Hereford - goalkeeper).
"I've always been convinced Billy will be a top player and
nothing I've seen at this football club has changed my mind." Marting Ling,
Torquay manager.
Jonathan Bond (Watford -
goalkeeper) gone on loan to Forest Green Rovers.
Ellis Harrison (Bristol Rovers - striker) Scored the fourth as the youth team beat Maidenhead Utd in
the FA Youth cup this week. Harrison has been out injured this season and is
finding his way back to fitness.
Emyr Huws
(Man City - midfielder) Was on the winning
side as the U18's beat Stoke 2-0 last weekend. City are currently top of The
Premier League Academy Group C. Jack
Nardiello (Stoke - striker) was a second
half sub for Stoke.
David
Goldsmith (WBA - striker) And the Baggies
U18's conceded late as they lost 2-1 to Liverpool. The former Wales U17's
striker qualifies for Wales through his mother.
Gethin
Jones (Everton - midfielder) Made an
appearance for the U18's off the bench last weekend. The Toffeemen eventually
lost 3-2 to Wolves.
Leon
Newell (Birmingham - striker) played 90 mins for the youth against leicester coming from 2-0 down at half time
to drawing 3-3 leon scoring a penalty.
Aaron
Oakley (Swindon - defender) Netted the
fifth as the youth team beat Hereford 7-0 in the FA Youth Cup. Oakley is being
mentored by former Wales international Paul Bodin who is the youth team boss at
the county Ground.
Richard
Peniket (Fulham - striker) Will spend the
next month on loan at Hereford as he looks to continue his footballing
education. The Wales U21 international has been in and around the Fulham
reserves this season, so a step up to League One will be a very good test.
Josh Pritchard (Fulham - midfielder) Supplied the pass for the only goal of the game as the reserves
beat Watford 1-0 this week. Pritchard played 90 minutes in a week where he was
named on the Wales U21 standby list.
Christian Ribeiro (Bristol City - defender) Has joined Carlisle Utd on loan until Christmas. The Wales U21
international has found opportunities hard to come by after returning from
injury. "He wants to show that he's ready to go, he's hungry, and we think
he'll fit in with how we like to do things." Gregg Abbott, Carlisle
manager.
David Stephens (Hibs - defender) And his fellow defenders kept a clean sheet as they frustrated
Celtic last weekend. The Wales U21 international has been a first team regular
this season and his move North of the border seems to have suited
him.
Will
Roberts (Coventry - midfielder) Scored his
second of the season as the U18's put MK Dons to the sword. The Sky Blues
eventually running out 7-2 winners.
Casey Thomas (Swansea City -
striker) Has signed for Colchester Utd
on emergency until January. The Wales U21 international will go straight into
the squad for the game against Tranmere.
Paul
Walker (Northampton/Brackley - goalkeeper) Kept his sixth clean sheet in as many games against Weymouth last
weekend. Walker is obviously enjoying his life on loan at the
moment. |
