 Welsh Football Travel

World In Motion Sports Group is proud to announce that it is branching out into the Welsh Football Travel scene, providing competitive and high class travel to Wales’ games of the future, beginning with Austria v Wales in March 2005.

World in Motion has established itself at the forefront of the sports management market in the three biggest sports in the UK and in football provides a unique and comprehensive service to professional footballers in the UK and worldwide.

The company ensures that each aspect of a player’s career is dealt with by an expert, including lawyers, accountants, marketing executives and financial advisors. With a client roster which includes Full Internationals, Under 21 Internationals and developing talent at clubs in all four of the professional divisions, World in Motion has the professionalism, experience and enthusiasm to assist players to maximise their playing and commercial potential.
The company has developed a reputation for professional excellence in contract negotiation, client care and inter-personal relationships, and is held in high esteem by the players, managers and clubs it works for. Consequently, the opinion of the directors is regularly sought by the sporting media, leading to appearances on Sky Sports, the BBC, BBC Wales, and features in ‘Total Sport Magazine’, ‘Welsh Sport Cymru’, ‘The Lawyer’, ‘Wales on Sunday’, and ‘The Daily Mail’.
Whilst fundamentally providing the most competitive rates of travel and the highest standards of customer care for Welsh Supporters, World in Motion is also to display its commitment to sport in Wales by supporting the Gôl Appeal and by making regular donations to grassroots football projects in the Principality, whilst also striving to offer a number of subsidised travel possibilities….
The World In Motion Welsh Travel branch will consist of three people, Andy Evans, Leigh James and Neil Dymock.

Andy Evans is 36 and has a BA (Hons) Degree in French and Spanish from Bristol University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Law. He is a qualified Solicitor and Licensed Players Agent. He handles an extensive client base that includes Full and Under 21 Internationals and players from all four professional divisions in England and the Premier League in Scotland. In addition, his language skills enable Andy to work on behalf of UK clubs to import foreign stars, and to manage their careers whilst in the UK. Andy has attended over 40 Wales games and has been travelling regularly for 15 years.

Leigh James is 36 and has been working in the travel industry for 18 years, having worked in all lines of travel in this time. He began his career on the Tour Operations side of travel, where he worked for Thompson Holidays both in the UK and abroad. From there he moved onto specialised ‘Taylor-Made Travel’ for Spain’s largest tour operator, Mundi Color. Leigh was involved in the overall running of the companies operation throughout Europe. Leigh then branched out into the corporate travel world, which he has been involved in for the last 8 years, in which time he has been dealing  with multi million  pound travel accounts  for large corporate banks. Leigh has been a regular away Wales fan since 1983 and has been to 34 away games. While he has also been a regular at home games since 1978.

Neil Dymock is 33 and has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Geography from Sheffield University, is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration. He is Editor of Wales fanzine ‘The Dragon Has Landed’, a founder member of the ‘Gôl Appeal,’ the Welsh Supporters Charity and Manager of the Wales Supporters Football team, who have now played 11 games since their formation, including the 6-1 win over England last Saturday ! Neil has been following Wales over the last 14 years, having been to 35 away games, the last 26 consecutively. He has also seen the Under 17 and Under 19 teams in action abroad as well as the last 20 Under 21 games in succession.

With Mark Hughes leaving after the Poland game, it is the start of a new era for the Welsh Football team and it is hoped it is the beginning of high class Welsh Sports Travel.

As Andy says "it was through a passion for watching football and travelling around the UK and Europe watching Welsh clubs and International football that led to my involvement as an agent for footballers, many of whom have been Welsh. Having experienced the difficulties felt by many on away trips with Wales, we have decided to use our combined professional connections to take supporter travel for Welsh fans on to a different and vastly more professional, organised and cost-effective level."

For Leigh James, it is the chance of combining his travel expertise, with the team he loves. "I am very excited about our new venture and I feel with all our expertise and knowledge it can not fail."

It is a big challenge, but one World In Motion are looking forward to. As Neil says "Welsh football fans have been amongst the best in the world over the last few years and with our growing fan base, we would like to provide competitive travel to away games from Cardiff, catering for every fans needs. I know better than most that travel can make or break a trip away and World In Motion intend to make sure that fans on our trips want for nothing in terms of service and information."

For some fans, news of the launch of World In Motion is a welcome addition to the joys of watching Wales away.

Ray Lewis, from Maesteg said "I have no doubts the company will be an outstanding success. After my experiences of recent away trips, I am looking forward to a new quality service. It‘s refreshing news. If I was a betting man I would put a £1 on them doing the travel for the team eventually".

Dave Thatcher is new to the Welsh travel scene but intends using World In Motion for his future games. "I have been sold by what I have been heard so far. World In Motion are definitely the future of Welsh Football Travel in organised groups. Count me in".

Tony Jones of Hengoed, "I’m counting down the days to getting on the World In Motion plane after my nightmares of Baku"
